CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1709 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING PREZONING OF <br /> APPROXIMATELY 34.5 ACRES LOCATED ON BOTH <br /> SIDES OF TRENERY DRIVE WESTERLY OF <br /> MARTIN AVENUE, AS FILED UNDER CASE RZ-97-02 <br />WHEREAS, an application to prezone approximately 34.5 acres located on both sides of <br /> Trenery Drive westerly of Martin Avenue ( 2201, 2207, 2215, 2221, and <br /> 23 13 Martin Avenue, and 3547, 3711, 3737, 3747, and 3757 Trenery <br /> Drive) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - LDR (Low Density <br /> Residential) District has been proposed by the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was <br /> adopted by Council on March 18, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for <br /> approval for the prezoning; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 18, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning is consistent with the <br /> General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Approves the prezoning of approximately 34.5 acres located on both sides <br /> of Trenery Drive westerly of Martin Avenue to the PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - LDR (Low Density Residential) District with a maximum <br /> density approaching 2.0 dwelling units per gross acre and discouraging new <br /> street connections to Trenery Drive. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960 on file with <br /> the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into Zoning Districts is <br /> hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map No. 432, attached hereto as Exhibit <br /> "A", dated March 18, 1997, and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
