CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1704 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION <br /> OF C. M. CENTERPROP FOR A MAJOR <br /> MODIFICATION TO A PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A <br /> FOUR-STORY OFFICE BUILDING AT 5050 <br /> HOPYARD ROAD, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-80-16-9M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, C. M. Centerprop has applied for a major modification to an approved <br /> Planned Unit Development to allow the construction of a four-story, <br /> 134, 143 square foot office building located on an approximately 5.625-acre <br /> site located at 5050 Hopyard Road opposite Gibraltar Drive in the Signature <br /> Center Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O <br /> (Industrial/Commercial-Offme) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is covered by the Negative Declaration previously <br /> approved by the City Council for PUD-80-16-3M; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval <br /> of the development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 21, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed modifications to the <br /> approved Planned Unit Development are appropriate. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves Case PUD-80-16-9M, the application ofC. M. Centerprop for a <br /> major modification to an approved Planned Unit Development to allow the <br /> construction of a four-story, 134, 143 square foot office building located on <br /> an approximately 5,625-acre site located at 5050 Hopyard Road, opposite <br /> Gibraltar Drive in the Signature Center Business Park, subject to the <br /> conditions shown on "Exhibit B", attached hereto and by this reference <br /> incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> <br />
