CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1714 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION <br /> OF STEPHEN CHAMBERLIN ASSOCIATES/ <br /> FEDERAL EXPRESS FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT <br /> PLAN APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-97-02 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Stephen Chamberlin Associates/Federal Express has applied for Planned Unit <br /> Development plan appoval to construct a one-story, approximately 90, 163 square <br /> foot, warehouse/office building and an approximately 3,449 square foot vehicle <br /> maintenance building to be utilized for Federal Express' mail sorting and <br /> distribution operations on an approximately 5.58 acre parcel generally located at <br /> the northeast comer ofi-680 and Stoneridge Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - G&LI (General and <br /> Light Industrial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by <br /> Council on May 20, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the <br /> PUD plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 20, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the PUD plan is consistent with the General Plan <br /> policies of the City of Pleasanton and the purposes of the PUD ordinance. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves Case PUD-97-02, the application of Stephen Chamberlin Associates/ <br /> Federal Express for Planned Unit Development plan approval to construct a <br /> one-story, approximately 90, 163 square foot, warehouse/office building and an <br /> approximately 3,449 square foot vehicle maintenance building to be utilized for <br /> Federal Express' mail sorting and distribution operations on an approximately 5.58 <br /> ace parcel generally located at the northeast comer ofi-680 and Stoneridge Drive, <br /> subject to the conditions shown on "Exhibit B" attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
