PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-19 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR THE APPLICATION OF GEORGE MARMENT, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-98-22 WHEREAS, George Marment has applied for (1) a rezoning of an approximately 3,764 square foot portion of an approximately 11,915 square foot parcel from the PUD-HDR (Planned Unit Development-High Density Residential) District to the PUD-O (Planned Unit Development-Office) District; (2) rezoning of the remaining 8,151 square feet of the same parcel from the O (Office) District to the PUD-O (Planned Unit Development-Office) District; and (3) a PUD development plan approval to construct a two-story, approximately 4,240 square foot office building located at 201 Old Bernal Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated January 29, 1999, and received the recommendations of staff; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 24, 1999, the Plarming Commission received a proposed negative declaration prepared for the proposed project; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project would not have a significant environmental impact; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife.
