PLANN1NG COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-09 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF BRADDOCK & LOGAN (A <br />RECONSIDERATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S DENIAL OF CASE <br />PUD-98-06) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 9, 1998, the Planning Commission denied the <br />application of Braddock & Logan for PUD rezoning to rezone a 1.0+ acre parcel <br />from the Agriculture (A) zoning district to the Planned Unit Development (PUD) <br />- Medium Density Residential (MDR) zoning designation and development plan <br />approval for 31 single-family lots on a 13.3+ acre site (three existing parcels) <br />located at 1635, 1777, and 1851 Rose Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of Jantmry 27, 1999 the Planning Commission decided to bring the <br /> item back to the Commission so that it could reconsider its previous action; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Planned Unit Development - Medium Density <br /> Residential (PUD-MDR) and Agriculture (A) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of February 10, 1999 the Planning Commission <br />agreed to reconsider its previous action denying PUD 98-06 and the <br />recommendation to the City Council for a specific plan for the Rose Avenue area; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />after the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, <br />and recommendations of the City staff, the Planning Commission determined that <br />a targeted study of the undeveloped Rose Avenue properties should be performed; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that there are unresolved issues relating to <br /> the proposed plan. <br /> <br /> <br />
