PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-06 RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF SPECIALTY SALES, INC., AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-98-279 AND V-99-02 WHEREAS, Specialty Sales, Inc. has applied for a variance from the Pleasanton Municipal Code and sign design review approval to allow a painted mural and an approximately 205-square foot painted wall sign located on the Spring Street side of the "Specialty Sales" building located at 4321 First Street; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial) District and Downtown Revitalization District; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of January 27, 1999, the Planning Commission considered ail public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that there are no special circumstances applicable to the property and, therefore, the variance findings could not be made. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Denies the application of Specialty Sales, Inc. for a variance from the Pleasanton Municipal Code and sign design review approval to allow a painted murai and an approximately 205-square foot painted wall sign located on the Spring Street side of the "Speciaity Sales" building located at 4321 First Street. Section 2. This resolution shail become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless appeaied prior to that time.
