PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-16 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO MODIFY CHAPTERS 18.78 AND 18.08 AND THE <br />WEST FOOTHILL ROAD CORRIDOR DESIGN GUIDELINES, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />RZ-99-01 <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend Chapter 18.78, West Foothill Road <br />Corridor Overlay District and Chapter 18.08, Definitions, of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code, and to amend the West Foothill Road Corridor Design <br />Guidelines; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of February 23, 2000 the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning the amendment to the Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that the modifications would create an <br />overlay district with regulations which will implement the goals and policies of <br />the General Plan as they relate to maintaining the highly aesthetic, rural character <br />of Foothill Road. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommend approval of Case RZ-99-01, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code to read as set forth in <br />Exhibits "A" and "B," attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
