CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />~OL,UI'IO~ I~., 67-13 <br /> <br />SUPPORT~[i~ WORLD AIRWAYS ' APPLICATION <br />FOR CERT~.~iCATION FOR TRANSPACIFIC <br />ROUTE BY CIVIL AERONAUTICS BOARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Worl~.~rways has filed application before the <br />Civil Aeronautics Board in the Transpacific route investigation; <br /> ' <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Alameda C~Pnty area is served well by the <br />Oakland International Airport; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, World Airways proposes a low cost air service <br />operating out of the Oakland International Airport to ~ranspacific <br />designations; <br /> <br />NC~4, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of pleasanton does hereby <br />endorse and support the application of World Airways before the <br />Civil Aeronautics Board. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Cpuncil does hereby urge other interested <br />public and private agencies to express a similar view to the <br />Civil Aeronautics Board. <br /> <br /> 3.
