Pursuant to ~eCt~O~ ~6508 et. seq. of the Government <br />Code of the State of ~alifornia, the City Council does hereby <br />submit to the electors at the next municipal election, <br />April 9, 1968~ the questiOn whether or no~ the office of <br />City Treasurer shall be appointed by the City Council rather <br />than elected by the electors. <br /> <br /> 2. The question shall be printed on the ballots used at <br />the election substantSally in the following ~orm: <br /> <br /> ."StiALL THE OFFICE OF CITY ~ASUP, ER BE <br /> APPOINTIVE ?" YES NO <br /> <br /> The words "Yes" and "No" shall be so printed <br /> on the ballots to allow the voters to express <br /> their choice, as shown above. <br /> <br /> 3.
