WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 69-6 <br />REQUESTING REVISION AND EXPANSION OF THE BOUNDARIES <br />OF THEPRIOR-APPROVED ANNEXATION NO. 58 <br /> <br />The Local Agency Formation Commission for the County <br />of Alameda did, on December 5, 1968, approve Annexation <br />No. 58 to the City of Pleasanton as requested by the <br />City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />Included in said Annexation No. 58'was approximately <br /> <br />45 acres of publicly owned land; and <br />Pursuant to Section B5~13 of the Government Code, the <br />City of Pleasanton requested that the Assessor of <br />Alameda County place a value upon said publicly owned <br />land; and <br /> <br />The Assessor did, by letter dated December 18, 1968, a <br />copy of which is at~ached hereto, place a value on said <br />publicly owned land; and <br /> <br /> Consistent with its policy, and as it understands it, <br /> with the policy of the Local Agency Formation Commission <br /> the City Council of the City of Pleasanton considers it <br /> desirable and in furtherance of the orderly expansion of <br /> the boundaries of the City to request revision and expan <br /> sion of the boundaries of Annexation No. 58, pursuant to <br /> Section 54799.1 of the Government Code; and <br /> The proposed revision would, it is conceded, require <br /> creation of a small island of unincorporated territory <br /> within the City of Pleasanton approximately one acre in <br /> size; and <br /> <br /> <br />
