RE: <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.__ 70-6 <br /> <br />EQUIPPING FLAT BED DUMP TRUCK TO ACCOMMODATE LIQUID <br />PETROLEUM GAS (PROPANE) <br /> <br />~HEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />The City Manager has submitted a report dated December 31 <br />1969, regarding the feasibility of equipping a recently <br />purchased flat bed dump truck in such a way as to accommo. <br />date the use of liquid petroleum gas (propane) in order <br />to minimize vehicular emissions and to promote efficency <br />of operation of said truck; and <br /> <br />Said report recommends that the City purchase said truck <br />from John Edgren and Sons pursuant to the previously pro- <br />cessed bid and that the staff, at the appropriate time, <br />be authorized to lease the proper equipment to convert th <br />said flat bed dump truck to the use of liquid petroleum <br />gas (propane) in order that the effect of the use of said <br /> <br /> fuel be measured on a trial basis. <br /> <br />~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
