WHEREAS~ <br /> <br />~EREAS~ <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON - <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 71-25 <br /> <br /> RE: AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT BETWEEN ALAMEDA COUNTY <br /> FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT, <br /> PLEASANTON TOWNSHIP COUNTY WATER DISTRICT AND THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON AS IT RELATES TO THE INDEPENDENT <br /> QUOTA OF WATER WHICH PLEASANTON IS ALLOWED TO WITHDRAW <br /> WITHOUT CHARGE FROM THE UNDERGROUND BASIN. <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton is in receipt of a proposed <br />agreement between Pleasanton Township County Water <br />District, Alameda County Flood Control District and <br />Pleasanton which, if adopted, would amend the earlier <br />agreement between the parties dated March 12, 1968 by <br />providing for an increased independent quota of water <br />which Pleasanton may withdraw without charge from the <br />underground basin in return for an assignment to the <br />Alameda County Flood Control District in rights in <br />surplus waters of the Arroyo del Valle; and <br />said independent quota increases in steps from 1973 <br />with 150 acre feet to 1982 at which time the indepen- <br />dent quota will have increased by 1500 acre feet to a <br />total of 3500 acre feet; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. <br /> <br />That the agreement between the City of Pleasanton, the <br />Alameda County Flood Control District and the Pleasanton <br />Township County Water District providing for assignment <br />by the later to the Flood Control District of Del Valle <br />water rights and for increase to the City of the amount <br />of water which it can withdraw without charge from the <br />underground basin is approved and the appropriate City <br /> <br />Officers instructed to the <br />City. <br /> <br />IATED: February 1, 1971 <br /> <br />%TTEST:, <br /> <br />iELEN C.
