CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-18 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION INITIALLY ESTABLISHING PUBLIC PROJECTS <br />WHICH WILL BE DEVELOPED UNDER THE HOUSING AND <br />CO~e~UNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Congress of the United States passed and the President <br /> of the United States signed into law the Housing and <br /> Community Development Act of 1974 for the purpose of <br /> allocating over a three-year period mederal grants to be <br /> used for physical development or redevelopment of b!igh-- <br /> ted areas of cities and for the benefit of lower income <br /> members of the community; and <br /> <br />WIiEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has held public meetings related <br /> to the use of moneys to be used by the City under the <br /> terms of this act; and <br /> <br />!'~iEREAS, City has been notified by the County of Alameda tha~ it <br /> is necessary to indicate ~.nitial projects Cot which the <br /> funds to be received under the Housinq anal Cormsunity <br /> Development Act will be used, said report being required <br /> by January 31~ 1975~ and <br /> <br />WiIEREAS, City Council is desirous of continuing public discussion <br /> of these projects and has set another public hearing for <br /> February 10, 1975 but in the interim is desirous of <br /> designating two projects for interim consideration for <br /> use of the aforementioned funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, if, as a result of testimony received at ~he February 10, <br /> 1975 public hearing, the City Council desires to change <br /> the projects for which said funds will be used, reserves <br /> the right to do so. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY Om PLSASANTON RESOLVES <br /> AS POLLOWS~ <br /> <br />Section I.
