CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAI~DA <br />STATE OF CALIFOP~qIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75--25 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PUBLIC <br />SERVICE EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY. <br /> <br />WHEP~AS, the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of <br /> 1973 which provides job training and employment <br /> opportunities for economically disadvantaged un- <br /> employed and underemployed persons is administered <br /> through the County of Alameda; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, in order to participate in <br /> <br /> ~is program, must contract with the County of <br /> Alameda. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The contract with the County of Alameda entitled <br /> <br /> "County of Alanteda Public Service Employment Contractl= <br /> is approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute <br /> the same on behalf of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 2.
