RE: <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 76-12 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF CONTRACT WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY RELATING TO <br />PROVISION OF ANIMAL SHELTER SERVICES <br /> <br /> County operates an animal control shelter with its own <br /> employees; and <br /> the City Council, on February 26, 1973, by Resolution <br /> No. 73-29, authorized execution of a contract with <br /> Alameda County whereby the County has provided animal <br /> shelter services to the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said contract has expired and City is desirous of execut- <br /> ing a new contract with County for shelter services; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes execution by the appropriate City officers <br /> of a contract with Alameda County whereby the County will <br /> provide animal shelter services to the City of Pleasanton, <br /> said contract continuing from year to year unless termi- <br /> nated as provided in the contract. <br /> <br />Section 2.
