WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 76-25 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF INSTALLATION OF FLASHING YELLOW LIGHTS <br />AT FIRST AND ABBIE STREETS IN PLEASANTON <br /> <br />the upgrading and improvement of the flashing yellow <br />school crossing lights on First and Abbie Streets near <br />Pleasanton Elementary School was a budgeted item for <br />Fiscal Year 1975-76; and <br />the Director of Engineering Services, in a memorandum <br />dated February 4, 1976, reported that Tammen, Johnson, <br />Kinzel and Mimiaga had submitted a proposal for the <br />work and a cost estimate for its completion; and <br />the Director of Engineering Services has recommended <br />approval of and execution of an agreement for the <br />completion of this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at their meeting of February 9, 1976 <br /> reviewed this proposal; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the preparation and execution of an <br /> agreement with Tammen, Johnson, Kinzel and Mimiaga <br /> to complete this project, including design, plans and <br /> specifications and supervision of construction to be <br /> performed as set forth in the Director of Engineering <br /> Services report dated February 4, 1976. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON FEBRUARY 9, 1976 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox and <br /> Mayor Kinney <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />William H.
