CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 77-11 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THAT MEDIAN BREAKS ON HOPYARD <br /> ROAD AND VALLEY AVENUE NECESSARY TO SERVE THE OAK TREE <br /> CENTER BE APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution 77-10 upheld the appeal <br /> of Charlotte Witke and Kay Martin to a decision of the <br /> Planning Commission approving UP-76-13; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the City Council's action in upholding <br /> the appeal, it will be necessary for the Design Review <br /> Board to review revise plans for the Oak Tree Center area; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Central Commercial zoning portions of Oak Tree Center <br /> front on Hopyard Road and it is anticipated that it will <br /> be necessary to have median breaks along Hopyard Road <br /> to allow vehicles to reach the proposed center while <br /> traveling south on Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it may be necessary to allow median breaks along Valley <br /> Avenue to provide for access to the Oak Tree Center <br /> from Valley Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 5-2.01 of the Ordinance Code of the <br /> City of Pleasanton, the City Traffic Engineer of the <br /> City Council are authorized to act upon the placement, <br /> installation and maintenance of traffic control <br /> devices. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1.
