CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION N0.77-6 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES <br /> OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is desirous of purchasing certain <br /> vehicles necessary to the operation of City departments; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Department of General Services of the State of <br /> <br /> California can obtain vehicles for City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br /> authorize the Office of Procurement, Department of <br /> General Services of the State of California to purchase <br /> vehicles for and on the behalf of the City of Pleasanton <br /> pursuant to Section 14814, Government Code. <br /> <br />Section 2. William H. Edgar, City Manager, or Alan B. Campbell, <br /> Assistant City Manager/Director of Public Work~ are <br /> hereby authorized and directed to sign and deliver all <br /> necessary requests and other documents in connection <br /> <br /> therewith for an on behalf of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> Section 3.
