CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-13 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF RENEWAL LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN SCHULTE- <br />BLACKWELL AND CITY OF PLEASANTON RELATING TO FIRE <br />STATION NO. 2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has for several years leased a <br />three-bedroom house at 7769 Desertwood Way to be used <br />for Fire Station No. 2 in the Stoneridge area; and <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of January 24, 1978, <br />received a report from Assistant to the City Manager Walker <br />dated January 17, 1978, recommending that a renewal lease <br />be approved for a period of two years, beginning February 1, <br />1978, and ending January 31, 1980, with a two-year option <br />period; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council determined that it would be in the public interest <br /> to renew this lease. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. Authorizes the execution of a renewal lease for a period <br />of two years, beginning February 1, 1978, and ending <br />January 31, 1980, between Schulte-Blackwell Development <br />Company and the City to provide for use of the house at <br />7769 Desertwood Way as Fire Station No. 2. <br /> <br />2. Approves the rental fee of $550 per month for the building <br />during the two year lease period, with the rent for a <br />two year option period to be adjusted on the basis of the <br />cost of living increase. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JANUARY 24, <br /> <br />3.
