CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 79-20 A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING CALLING FOR BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PETERS AVENUE FROM ROSE AVENUE TO ST. MARY STREET WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities, by his report dated February 6, 1979, informed the City Council that plans and specifications have been completed and reviewed by staff for construct~n of Peters Avenue from Rose Avenue to St. Mary Street; and WHEREAS, this project had been out for bid once on July 5, 1978, but the bid was rejected because the lone bid received was too high; and WHEREAS, certain portions of the project have since been bid separately and construction completed; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities now recommends that the Council authorize calling for bids on the remain- ing street construction portion of the project; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the plans and specification for the construc- tion of Peters Avenue from Rose Avenue to St. Mary Street as recommended by the Director of Public Works and Utili- ties in his report dated February 6, 1979. Section 2. Authorizes the calling of bids in the above project. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
