RE: <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 79-8 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF COMPLETION OF WOODTHRUSH PARK THROUGH <br />COOPERATIVE EFFORTS OF THE CITY AND RESIDENTS AND <br />BUDGETING $4,000 FOR ~TERIALS FROM THE NEIGHBOR- <br />HOOD PARK FUND <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />homeowners in the area of Woodthrush Park have offered to <br />supply labor necessary to complete the planter strip and the <br />area leading from Woodthrush Park to the Sports Park on <br />Woodthrush Way if the City will furnish the necessary <br />materials; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of January 23, 1979, <br />received a report from the Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities regarding Woodthrush Park and recon~nending that <br />the City cooperate with residents in the completion of the <br />park; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes budgeting $4,000 for materials from the <br /> Neighborhood Park Fund to be used for the completion of <br /> Woodthrush Park and planter strip as a cooperative project <br /> of the City and residents in the area of the park. <br /> <br />Section 2.
