CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO, 83-09 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF SPORTS PARK, PHASE III, LITTLE <br />LEAGUE FIELD IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO. 82-15, AND <br />APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO COAST FENCE <br />COMPANY <br /> <br />WtIEREAS, <br /> <br />work by Coast Fence Company on the Sports Park, Phase <br />III, Little League Field Improvements, Project No. <br />82~15, has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br />payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the Sports Park, Phase III, Little <br /> League Field Improvements is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> The Director of Finance is instructed to Drepare <br />a warrant in the amount of $1,838.84 in favor of <br />Coast Fence Company in satisfaction of the final <br />progress payment for the above-accepted work on <br />Project No. 82-15. Ten percent (10%) of the total <br />contract or $556.36 will be retained until thirty <br />(30) days after filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 11, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSTAIN: None ~ ~ <br />ATTEST: //') ' <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Peter D.
