CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-03 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS OF PETERS AVENUE AT <br />ROSE AVENUE, PROJECT NO. 82-17, AND APPROVAL OF <br />FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO BALANCO CORPORATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by Balanco CorDoration on the improvements <br />Peters Avenue at Rose Avenue, Project No. 82-17, <br />has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the improvements of Peters Avenue at <br /> Rose Avenue, Project No. 82-17, is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to DreDare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $9,862.83 in favor of <br /> Balanco Corporation in satisfaction of the final <br /> progress payment for the above-accepted work on <br /> Project No. 82-17. Ten percent (10%) of the total <br /> contract or $3,497.62 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 11, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSTAIN: None I ~ /~ ~,'i~_ <br /> <br /> Walker, Cit5 <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />AFtROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />~eter D. ~acDona~, C~ty Attorne7 <br /> <br /> <br />
