The last two attachments show the
continuous strearn of traffic, the first attachment shows the intersection of Stoneridge and Santa Rita from my car
window while waiting to turn from Santa Rita to Westbound Stoneridge. The first attachment shows the following:
Why the continuous strearn nearer lets up — cars are turning on to Southbound Santa Rita from both directions on
Stoneridge — illegally and stuck and stopped in the intersection, waiting for traffic to more. Notice the car turning from
the second turn lane on a red light and stopped - "illegal ".
I have emailed each council member previously to meet me at the intersection of Sutter Gate and Santa Rita during
afternoon commuter hours and attempt to make the left turn. None of the council members responded to me. Is it too
dangerous for you council members to attempt this?
TO THE CITY COUNCIL FROM TH I R W B 1 TE CONTACT US
Wednesday, February 18, 2009
Subject. Measure B & Stoneridge Extension
1. Pleasanton gets Measure B funds, for fiscal years 2004 through 2007 in the arnount of $2,805,08l .00.
This money should be used for the Stoneridge Rd extension,
The Stoneridge Rd extension should be kept in the City Plan.
How much of this Measure B moneys will be spent toward the Stoneridge Rd extension's
2. The City has also collected fees from developers for the Stoneridge Rd extension. When will that money be used to
extend Stoneridge Rd?
More reasons to implement the Stoneridge Rd. extension.
Read the Pleasanton Weekly 11/24/06 edition, Guest opinion by George Withers (Fire Chief from 1989 to 1997,
"DON'T MAKE THIS SAME MISTAKE TWICE". Sorry I am unable to show the article here.
You should have a ways for me to scan in the opinion and send it as an attachment to you.
Regards,
Michael Grosman
4562 Lin Gate St.
2/19/2009
