~.; PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALLFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-28 ~ RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE RZ-88 ~, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone an approximately 6.5 acre site located on the north side of Vineyard Avenue approximately 450 feet east of the intersection of E1 Capitan Drive and Vineyard Avenue to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density Residential District or to any other district consistent with the General Plan; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 9, 1988, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case RZ-88-3; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated March 3, 1988 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held March 9, 1988 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed prezoning; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment: NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for Case RZ-88-3, the application to prezone two parcels totalling approximately 6.7 acres on the north side of Vineyard Avenue approximately 450 feet east of the intersection of E1 Capitan Drive and Vineyard Avenue to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density Residential District or any other district consistent with the General Plan. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. - 1 -
