CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-24 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF THE BERNAL AVENUE WIDENING AND AMBER LANE <br /> IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO. 85-29, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL <br /> PROGRESS PAYMENT TO O. C. JONES & SONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, work by O. C. Jones & Sons on the Bernal Avenue widening <br /> and Amber Lane improvements, Project No. 85-29, has been <br /> satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The work on the Bernal Avenue widening and Amber <br /> Lane improvements is hereby accepted. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $7,873.79 in favor of O. C. <br /> Jones & Sons in satisfaction of the final progress <br /> payment for the above-accepted work on Project No. <br /> 85-29. Ten percent (10%) of the total contract or <br /> $13,147.75 will be retained until thirty (30) days after <br /> filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br /> Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 20, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Wilson .~/~~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: 64-'/ <br /> K~NNET~ R.
