PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1205 <br /> A resolution of the Planning Commission of the <br /> City of Pleasanton advising the City Council <br /> of their oppositions and concerns to any fur- <br /> ther expansions of the Livermore Airport as it <br /> relates to increased air traffic. <br />.WHEREAS, through the news media the Planning Commission <br /> has learned that the Livermore Airport is cur- <br /> rently installing new traffic control devices <br /> within the Livermore Airport property, and, <br />WHEREAS, based on said improvements, it is the Planning <br /> Commission's concern as to whether this new <br /> equipment is needed to serve the type of air- <br /> craft presently utilizing this airport. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of <br /> the City of Pleasanton is not opposed to any <br /> new improvements that would benefit the safety <br /> of the present aircraft now using the airport, <br /> but would be opposed to any improvements which <br /> would indicate that larger type aircraft would <br /> be encouraged or permitted by said improvements <br /> Further, it is the Planning Commission's oppo- <br /> sition to any improvements in the Livermore <br /> Airport which would signal the advent of in- <br /> creased traffic. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 3rd day of October, 1972, <br />by the following vote. <br />Ades: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: <br />Commissioners McLain, Pereira, Pons, <br />Wood and Chairman Carrigan <br />Secretary Castro <br />dated: October 3, 1972 <br />fittest: <br />~/ <br />1~ <br />~! <br />Ricardo J. tro, Secretary <br />1-~~f~ l <br />Howard T.
