PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 120 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton recommending to the <br />City Council the modification of RZ-72-9. <br />6VHEREAS, the application of the Planning Commission <br />to remove from the Study District and re- <br />classify that property known as the neighbor- <br />hood shopping center fronting Pico Avenue <br />and Tawny Drive consisting of approximately <br />14 acres, more or less, to approximately <br />10 acres, with the remaining 4 acres, more <br />or less, to be designated as a P.U.D. <br />Multiple Development (RM-2,500 Density), <br />said property more precisely described as <br />Parcel 946-2551-1, and known as a portion <br />of Study District Area F, has come before <br />this Commission, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has held a public hearing on <br />this application and has examined pertinent <br />maps, drawings and documents and finds the <br />following conditions to be evident: <br />1. That the proposed rezoning will not be <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of the <br />General Plan. <br />2. That the proposed rezoning is in the <br />public interest and general welfare. <br />3. That the proposed rezoning creates a <br />more equitable condition for the community <br />than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton does hereby recommend <br />to City Council the modification of said <br />rezoning request as follows: <br />That said portion of Study District Area F <br />consisting of 14 acres, more or less, and <br />fronting Pico Avenue, be removed from the <br />Study District and placed with direction <br />and guidance to the developer in a Planned <br />Unit Development to be no less than 7 acres <br />and no more than 10 acres in the C-N (Com- <br />mercial Neighborhood) District with the <br />balance of the property to be designated <br />RM-2,500 density. The Planning Commission <br />further stipulated that if at all feasible, <br />that this multiple area border the existing <br />multiple area fronting Norton Way. <br />
