Page 1 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> <br />For <br /> <br />MONITORING THE LAUREL CREEK, MOLLER RANCH, LEMOINE RANCH, AND <br />OAK TREE FARM GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICTS (GHADs) <br /> <br />THIS PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT (“Agreement”) is entered into this <br />1st day of July 2025, between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation (“City”), <br />and ENGEO Incorporated whose address is 2633 Camino Ramon, Suite 250, San Ramon, <br />California 95583, and telephone number is (925) 866-9000, (“Consultant”). <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. Consultant is qualified to and experienced in providing engineering services for the <br />purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br />B. City finds it necessary and advisable to use the services of the Consultant for the <br />purposes provided in this Agreement. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and conditions in this <br />Agreement, City and Consultant agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Consultant’s Services. Subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, <br />Consultant shall provide to City the services described in the Scope of Services included in <br />Exhibit A. Consultant shall provide said services at the time, place, and in the manner specified <br />in Exhibit A. For the monitoring task, Consultant shall perform services once per calendar year <br />to satisfy the monitoring requirements of the GHAD Plans of Control. Site reconnaissance and <br />subsequent data submission and summary reports shall be completed by July 30th of each year, or <br />as directed by the City. <br /> <br />2. City Assistance. To assist Consultant in this work, City shall provide, upon request, any <br />geotechnical reports, grading plans, subdivision maps, improvement plans, or other available <br />information from the City’s archives. <br /> <br />3. Term. This contract shall commence on the date written above and shall expire on June 30th, <br />2030 (five-year term). <br /> <br />4. Compensation. City shall pay Consultant, as outlined within the Cost Proposal included in <br />Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein.
