PC- 7-10 <br /> <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALI ORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATIO OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-97-17 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for desig review approval to construct a <br />7,602:t square foot single- and two-story ad ition to the existing Pleasanton police <br />station located at 4833 Bernal A venue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Public and Institut onal ("P") District with the Civic <br />Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing ofFeb 12,1997, the Planning Commission, <br />considered all public testimony, relevant ex ibits, and recommendations ofthe <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically e empt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act ( EQA); therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that e proposed addition is appropriately <br />designed and would be compatible with the xisting police station building. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case Z-97 -17, the application f the City of Pleasanton for design <br />review approval to construct a 7,602:t squ e foot single- and two-story addition <br />to the existing Pleasanton police station loc ted at 4833 Bernal A venue, subject to <br />the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attach d hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
