LAND LEASE TERMINATION AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> This land lease termination agreement dated NOV ~9~ , 1988, between <br />the City of Pleasanton (City) and the County of Alameda (County); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, County has previously on October 31, 1972, entered into that land <br />lease with City for that parcel of land within the Amador Valley Conm~unlty <br />Park located on the north side of Black Avenue, westerly of Santa Rita Road, <br />in the City of Pleasanton as a site for the construction by County of an <br />interim library facility, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City has constructed a new, permanent library facility, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Paragraph 4 of the lease calls for 90 days prior written notice <br />by County to terminate the lease, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Paragraph 6 of the lease calls for the County, at its sole cost, <br />to remove the building and foundation and to restore the premises, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City land County have reached agreement for the transfer of <br />ownership of the building and improvements to City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MUTUALLY AGREED that said land lease shall be <br />terminated effective November 30, 1988, and that the lease requirements set <br />forth in paragaraphs 4 and 6 of the lease are hereby waived by C~ty. <br /> <br />D~rlene A.
