PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-2003-34 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF MICHAEL CALLAHAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-93-2-SM AND PCUP-89 WHEREAS, Michael Callahan has applied for (1) a major modification to an approved PUD development plan to allow construction of an 18,144-square-foot event center/barrel storage building and an 8,480-square-foot case storage building; and (2) for conditional use permit approval to operate an event center at the site of the Ruby Hill Winery located at 1188 Vineyard Avenue; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 13, 2003, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration prepared for Case PUD-93-2-SM and PCUP-89; and WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that approval of the proposed project would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PUD-93-2-SM and PCUP-89, the applications of Michael Callahan for (1) a major modification to an approved PUD development plan to allow construction of an 18,144-square-foot event center/barrel storage building and an 8,480-square-foot case storage building; and (2) for conditional use permit approval to operate an event center at the site of the Ruby Hill Winery located at 1188 Vineyard Avenue. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and adoption.
