CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 724 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-15.03, ARTICLE 1 <br /> (SEWER SERVICE CHARGES) AND SECTION 2-15.13, ARTICLE <br /> 2 (SEWER CONNECTION FEES), OF CHAPTER 8 (SEWAGE), <br /> TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON RELATING TO SEWER CONNECTION FEES. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Section 2-15.03 (Charges), Article 1, Chapter <br /> <br />8, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> ~ 2-15.03. Charges. The monthly charges for sewage service <br /> and sewer facilities furnished by the City for residential, <br /> commercial and industrial uses, or any other type of <br /> similar or dissimilar uses, as well as any surcharges <br /> added thereto to be collected, earmarked and set aside <br /> to assist in the repair, modification, expansion and/or <br /> phase-out of the City's sewage treatment plant, shall be <br /> as set forth in the resolution establishing fees and <br /> charges for various municipal services for the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Section 2-15.13 (Connection Charges), Article <br /> <br />2, Chapter 8, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> § 2-15.13. Connection Charges_. To establish appropriate <br /> provisions for the construction, repair, and expansion of <br /> the sanitary sewerage system of the City of Pleasanton, <br /> inclusive of the existing Sunol Treatment Plant, or to <br /> purchase capacity in some other sewerage system, and to <br /> be assured that the cost of such construction, repair and <br /> expansion is borne by those who receive the benefits thereof, <br /> <br /> <br />
