<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-45 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF MARRIOTT SENIOR LIVING SERVICES, AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD-98-04 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Marriott Senior Living Services has applied for PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />rezoning and development plan approval for a senior living facility consisting of <br />142 rooms (167 beds) for assisted living units, Alzheimer's units, and skilled <br />nursing units located at 3534 - 3622 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 24, 1998, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declaration prepared for Case PUD-98-04; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study May 6, 1998, <br />and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission fmds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project would not have any <br />adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br />
