CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-250 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIP~ING THE COST ACCOUNTING REPORT <br />FOR NUISANCE ABATEMENT 1981 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />abatement of weeds upon or in front of property within <br />the City of Pleasanton for those lots not abated <br />voluntarily by the owners thereof has been satisfactorily <br />completed consistent with the provisions of the Govern- <br />ment Code relating thereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Fire Marshal of the City of Pleasanton has prepared, <br />based upon information furnished by the City's contractor, <br />a list of the costs on a per lot basis of abating weeds <br />upon or in front of said lots; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of July 28, 1981 <br />reviewed the itemized list of costs, which had been <br />previously posted outside the City Council Chambers <br />consistent with the requirements of the Government Code. <br /> <br />NOW, TttEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTOil RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The itemized list of the weed abatement costs for <br /> 1981 contained in the report of the Fire Marshal of <br /> the City of Pleasanton Fire Department dated July 14, <br /> 1981, is hereby confirmed. <br /> <br />Section 2: The above costs of abatement are deemed by law to <br /> constitute a special assessment against and a lien upon <br /> the parcel of property, and will be added by the <br /> Treasurer-Tax Collector to the next regular tax bill <br /> for each parcel. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall be effective immediately upon <br /> its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TtlIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 28, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES ~~ <br /> : Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, ~ood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Kephart ~.~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> RCER, MAYOR <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk ~L E. ~ <br /> evine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
