CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-246 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ~GATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />PROPOSED POLICE FACILITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 28, 1981, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for the <br />new police facility located at the civic center <br />site; and <br /> <br />W~{EREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated July 15, 1981 and received the <br />staff and Planning Commission's recommendations for <br />approval; and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on <br />the environmental impacts of the proposed development <br />plan; and <br /> <br />Wt[EREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guide- <br />lines governing the preparation of negative declarations <br />and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed police facility <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the proposed <br /> police facility located at the civic center site. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 28, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wood and I.Iayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSEi.]T: Councilmember Kephart <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk ~. ~ <br /> ~evi~e, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
