CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAI~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-264 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT ZOi]ING AND DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 108 UNIT TOWNHOUSE PROJECT <br />LOCATED ON A 7.19 ACRE SITE II~MEDIATELY BEHIND <br />THE SHOPPING CENTER ON PICO AVENUE BETWEEN TAWNY <br />AND PALOMINO DRIVES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of August 11, 1981, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for PUD <br />zoning and development plan approval for a 108 unit <br />townhouse project located on a 7.19 acre site <br />immediately behind the shopping center on Pico <br />Avenue between Tawny and Palomino Drives; and <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated April 27, 1981 and received the recommendations <br />of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of mitigated negative declara- <br />tions and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEKEAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed PUD zoning <br />and development plan approval would not have any <br />significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, TIm CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the PUD zoning <br />and development plan approval for a 108 unit townhouse <br />project located on a 7.19 acre site immediately behind <br />the shopping center on Pico Avenue between Tawny and <br />Palomino Drives. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOTPED AUGUST 11, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
