CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-263 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING HITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLAP~TION <br />FOR PUD ZONING AND DEVELOPr~NT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A <br />63,000 SQ. FT. COMBINATION OFFICE BUILDING AND <br />CARPENTER'S TRAINING CENTER PROPOSED FOR THE 8 ACRE <br />SITE LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF SANTA RITA ROAD <br />APPROXImaTELY 250 FEET NORTH OF MOHR AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of August 11, 1981, the City Council <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for <br />PUD zoning and development plan approval for a 63,000 <br />sq. ft. combination office building and carpenter's <br />training center proposed for the 8 acre site located <br />on the east side of Santa Rita Road approximately 250 <br />feet north of Mohr Avenue; and <br /> <br />W~HEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated July 7, 1981 and received the recommendations <br />of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations <br />and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there may be significant impacts upon the environ- <br />ment, but that conditions of approval would render these <br />potential impacts insignificant. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approved a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the <br /> PUD zoning and development plan approval for a 63,000 <br /> sq. ft. combination office building and carpenter's <br /> training center proposed for the 8 acre site located on <br /> the east side of Santa Rita Road approximately 250 feet <br /> north of Mohr Avenue, subject to mitigating conditions <br /> number 37, 38 and 39 as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached <br /> to Ordinance No. 988 and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Council finds that based upon the review of the Initial <br /> Study, and the testimony and documentary evidence presented <br /> at the public hearing that there may be significant <br /> <br /> <br />
