CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-295 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE <br />DEMOLITION OF HOUSES AT 208, 209 AND 211 I~EST <br />ANGELA STREET TO DEETZ CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for the <br />demolition of houses at 208, 209 and 211 West Angela <br />Street in connection with the construction of Peters <br />Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the City <br />Engineering Services Division advertised for bids <br />regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on September 8, <br /> 1981; and <br /> <br />WttEREAS, <br /> <br />the bid of Deetz Construction Company, Inc. in the <br />amount of $6,966.00 was determined to be the lowest <br />responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br />that the bid of Deetz Construction Company, Inc. <br />be accepted. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Deetz Construction Company, Inc. in the <br /> amount of $6,966.00 for the demolition of houses at <br /> 208, 209 and 211 West Angela Street is hereby accepted <br /> by the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City is authorized to enter into a contract with <br /> Deetz Construction Company, Inc. for the project above <br /> specified. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON SEPTEI{BER 8, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />ine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
