CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUr~Y, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-294 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTABLISHING <br />TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY A~{ENDING <br />SECTION 6 (NO PARKING ZONES) BY ADDING SUBSECTION <br />6p-2 REGARDING NO PARKING ON PICO AVEirOE <br /> <br />I~HEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 ( A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br />for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WItEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution <br /> No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />at its meeting of September 8, 1981, the City Council <br />received and discussed a report dated September 2, 1981 <br />from the Director of Public Works and Utilities related <br />to parking on Pico Avenue in front of the park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br />No. 76-79 to prevent parking on Pico Avenue in front of <br />the park. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic <br /> Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by adding <br /> subsection 6p-2 as follows: <br /> <br />"6p-2 <br /> <br />Pico Avenue, on the east side of Pico Avenue <br />from Kottinger Drive to the northerly end of <br />the park." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TtIIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 8, 1981 BY TIlE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ames R.'
