CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-291 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL WORK ON THE <br />NORTH PLEASANTON WATER STUDY <br /> <br />the City Council has previously authorized Camp, Dresser, <br />McKee, Inc. (CDM) to conduct a study of the north <br />Pleasanton water system at a cost of $11,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a review of the preliminary report has raised concerns <br />over the ability of Zone 7 to provide the necessary <br />flows and pressures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an additional study of future Zone 7 delivery capabilities <br />is advisable, however, such study is beyond the originally <br />authorized study by CDM; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CDM has presented a proposal for the additional work <br />at an estimated cost of $9,000, which would be split <br />between Pleasanton ($6,000) and DSRSD ($3,000). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes the additional work by Camp, Dresser, <br /> McKee, Inc. proposed in their letter of August 26, 1981 <br /> at an additional cost to the City of Pleasanton of not <br /> more than $6,000. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 8, 1981 BY TIE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br /> Y <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> <br />
