CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COU~FY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 81-289 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MEMORANDa{ OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE CITY OF PLEASA~ON POLICE I~I~GE~NT UNIT, OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL ~3 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer representative of the City Council, and representatives of the Pleasanton Police Management Unit, Operating Engineers Local 23, have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton Police Management Unit, Operating Engineers Local 03; and ~HEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process, a Memorandum of Understanding dated August 25, 1981 was entered into between the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton Police Management Unit, Operating Engineers Local ~3; and WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the City Council at the regular meeting of August 25, 1981. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIt CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton Police Management Unit, Operating Engineers Local ~3, for a term commencing October 1, 1980 through December 31, 1981, attached hereto, is accepted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton subject to the terms and conditions contained in the Memorandum of Understanding. Section 2: The employees class titles and salary ranges to be paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the Pleasanton Police I{anagement Unit, Operating Engineers Local #3, during the period October 1, 1980 through December 31, 1981, shall be set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
