CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0.81-286 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DIRECTING STAFF TO PREPARE TIm NECESSARY <br />ORDINANCE CHANGES AND DOC~NTATION TO DISSOLVE THE <br />RESIDENTIAL ALLOCATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />two joint meetings have been held between the City <br />Council and the Residential Allocation Program Review <br />Committee to study and consider the future of the <br />Residential Allocation Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the purposes of RAP beyond its growth limitation function, <br />were to handle the major commitments to the settlement <br />agreement in the case of DSRSD vs. City of Pleasanton <br />and the concerns about infilling and missing links; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these purposes have been met; and <br /> <br />the City Attorney indicated that the elimination of the <br />Residential Allocation Program may require amendments <br />to the Zoning Ordinance Code and the General Plan and <br />indicated the process would take two to three months. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Staff is directed to prepare the necessary ordinance <br /> changes and documentation necessary to dissolve the <br /> Residential Allocation Program. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 25, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> lerk <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />V~ ° ~ <br /> ine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
