CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 81-282 RESOLUTION EXTENDING CONTRACT FOR FIRE PROTECTION TO KOMANDORSKI VILLAGE UNTIL FEBRUARY 1, 1982 AT A RATE OF $400.00 PER MONTH WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has provided fire protection service to Komandorski Village since 1955; and WHEREAS, the most recent agreement expired on June 30, 1978 and the City has continued providing service on an informal basis for a fee of $4,800 per year; and Michael Parsons, Executive Director of the Pleasanton Housing Authority, has requested that the contract be extended and the fire protection service fee be reduced or eliminated; and WHEREAS, Emily Wagner, Director of Finance, presented a report to the Council dated August 13, 1981 outlining in detail the services provided and expected need for service in the future; and WHEREAS, the citizens of Dublin will be voting on the November ballot on the issue of incorporation; and WHEREAS° if the issue passes, Dublin would become a City and Komandorski Village would be within the City of Dublin. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASAiTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Authorizes providing fire protection service to Komandorski Village until February 1, 1982, at a rate of $400.00 per month. Section 2: Further negotiations will be held after February 1, 1982 based on the outcome of the Dublin incorporation vote on November 3, 1981. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
