CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 81-320 RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR WIDENING VALLEY AVENUE TO A FOUR-LANE MAJOR THOROUGHFARE WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 29, 1981, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for the proposed widening of Valley Avenue to a four-lane major thoroughfare by CPS Associates; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated September 14, 1981 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed widening of Valley Avenue to a four-lane major thoroughfare by CPS Associates would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the widening of Valley Avenue to a four-lane thoroughfare by CPS Associates. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
