CITY COUNCIL OF TItE CITY OF PLEASANTOH <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-319 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION A~IIDIi]G RESOLUTIOH UO. 76-79 (ESTABLISIIING <br />TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY Ai~ENDING <br />SECTION 12 (NO PARKING ZONES FOR VEHICLES Ill EXCESS <br />OF 20 FEET IN LENGTtl) BY ADDING SUBSECTION 12f-4 <br />REGARDING PARKING ON FIRST STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br />for City Streets); and <br /> <br />~REAS the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution <br /> No.76-79; and <br /> <br />WIlEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of September 29,1981, the City Council <br />discussed the problems of parking vehicles in excess <br />of twenty feet in length on First Street; and <br /> <br />~,~IEREAS <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br />No. 76-79 to prevent parking of these vehicles on <br />First Street. <br /> <br />NOW, TtlEREFORE, TIM CITY COUiICIL OF TttE CITY OF PLEASAUTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOUS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic <br /> Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by adding <br /> subsection 12f-4 as follows: <br /> <br />12f-4 <br /> <br />First Street, on the east side (residential) of <br />First Street from Pleasanton Elementary School <br />to Kottinger Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 29, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor l{ercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler ~ <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk APPROVED AS TO FO~I:~ <br /> ine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
