CITY COUNCIL OF TtIE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-318 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING TWO-Y'EAR LEASE FOR YOUNG <br />CALIFORNIA BUILDING WITIt ALAmeDA COUNTY FAIR <br />BOARD <br /> <br />~tEREAS, <br /> <br />for the past several years, the City of Pleasanton <br />has leased the Young California Building from the <br />Alameda County Agricultural Fair Association for <br />use in their indoor tennis program; and <br /> <br />Wt~REAS, the current lease expired March 31, 1981; and <br /> <br />~ZREAS, it is to the benefit of the City of Pleasanton to <br /> continue leasing these premises; and <br /> <br />~'~{EREAS, <br /> <br />a new two-year contract has been negotiated similar <br />to previous contracts with only minor changes, <br />which are set forth in the report of the Director <br />of the Department of Recreation and Human Resources <br />dated September 24, 1981. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASA2~ON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the two-year Lease Agreement between the <br /> Alameda County Agricultural Fair Association and the <br /> City of Pleasanton as submitted by staff. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute <br /> the Lease Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 29, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWIUG VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br />AB : None <br /> <br /> Clerk <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />~ ~evine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
