CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 81-304 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />PREZONING AN APPROXIMATELY 51 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED <br />ON THE WEST SIDE OF FOOTttlLL ROAD, DIRECTLY ACROSS <br />FROM FOOTHILL ttlGH SCHOOL TO A (AGRICULTURAL) <br />DISTRICT <br /> <br />~tEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of September 8, 1981, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for prezoning <br />an approximately 51 acre parcel located on the west <br />side of Foothill Road directly across from Foothill <br />High School, which land is involved in Annexation <br />No. 84, to A (Agricultural); and <br /> <br />~aIEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated August 6, 1981 and received the recommenda- <br />tions of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WttEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed prezoning; and <br /> <br />WltEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guide- <br />lines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That a Negative Declaration be adopted for the prezoning <br /> of an approximately 51 acre parcel located on the west <br /> side of Foothill Road, directly across from Foothill <br /> High School, which land is involved in Annexation No. 84, <br /> to A (Agricultural) District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
