CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTOi~ ALAj~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 81-303 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR DEVELOPr.~NT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 75-LOT SINGLE- FAMILY RESIDEr~IAL PLANI~D UNIT DEVELOP}~NT TO BE LOCATED ON TIE NORTH SIDE OF VALLEY AVERSE, BETWEEN KOLLN STREET AND TttE SOUTttRN PACIFIC RAILROAD TRACKS WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 8, 1981, the City Council received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for development plan approval for a 75-1ot single-family residential planned unit development to be located on the north side of Valley Avenue, between Kolln Street and the Southern Pacific railroad tracks; and ~REAS the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated August 4, 1981 and received the recommenda- tions of the Staff and Planning Commission; and I~tEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to cormnent on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and I~HEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declara- tions and environmental impact reports; and WHER.EAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be significant impacts upon the environ- ment, but that conditions of approval would render these potential impacts insignificant. NOW, TI~REFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TtIE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the development plan approval for a 75-1ot single-family residential planned unit development to be located on the north side of Valley Avenue, between Kolln Street and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks, subject to mitigating condition number 2 as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached to Ordinance No. 996 and incorporated herein by reference. Section 2: Council finds that based uDon the review of the Initial Study, and the testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there may be significant impacts on the environment, but that conditions listed in Section 1 as mitigations render these potential impacts insignificant.
