CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-339 <br /> <br />APPROVING ~END~NT TO CITY ATTOP~EY'S BUDGET <br />RE-ALLOCATING FUNDS TO PURCHASE I~ MEMORY 100 <br />TYPEWRITER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the adopted budget for fiscal year 1981-82 includes <br />funds appropriated for a part-time Clerk Typist position <br />in the City Attorney's office; and <br /> <br />~{EREAS, <br /> <br />the duties of the Clerk Typist included routine typing, <br />filing and preparation of standardized ordinances and <br />resolutions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the position of part-time Clerk Typist recently became <br /> vacant leaving approximately $4,98~ which was allocated <br /> for salary; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />due to the amount of repetitious typing done by the <br />Legal Secretary and Clerk Typist, staff believes it <br />would be advantageous to purchase an I~.I Memory 100 <br />typewriter with the funds previously allocated for <br />the position of Clerk Typist. <br /> <br />NOW, TttEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the purchase of an IBM ~emory 100 Typewriter <br /> with the remaining funds originally appropriated for a <br /> Clerk Typist position in the City Attorney's Budget. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 13, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> APP VED AS TO F~.:~ <br />ne, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
